Apple VS. Microsoft (Steve jobs VS. Bill Gates)

Years ago Apple was hitting with its Macintosh and Lisa Computers they were having all of the market share and people were impressed by what Apple was Doing, Steve Jobs was the man of who was seeing the future (and he was great, really Great),
 At the same time Microsoft was just a small company with no one knows who they are, Microsoft's vision was to be a Software company with nothing to do with the hardware, and they started windows, 2 or 3 years later it started to be the Operating system that every one is using, Steve jobs left apple, and he was saying that Microsoft is a Company with no taste, he was not getting it by that time, few years later Bill gates was the richest man alive and Steve jobs returned back to Apple, and the new hit by apple started after that by giving the beautiful taste to it's products the mac book, and after that the iphone, then the iPad and again Apple was hitting and they were having the market share of their new Products, But as always Apple was the owning the hardware and the software.
And as the old days Microsoft is standing away and was trying to be in the market with bad Products like the windows mobile, so it is the same no one knows Microsoft in the field of Tablets and Phones.
a little change we are having now that it is a Marketing game now and what is making Apple hitting this way is that Steve jobs is a brilliant marketeer, so it is not a geeks thing any more.
Bill gates decided to leave the lead of Microsoft to the first non technical guy worked for Microsoft and it is Steve Ballmer, so it is a fair game now a Marketeer VS. Marketeer, Ballmer first did a great thing which was a confession that Microsoft had some bad products that did not satisfy Microsoft's customers, then again Microsoft launched something called Windows Phone 7 an Operating System for Smart Phones, so it is again the Windows game.
at the same time "Again" Steve jobs decided to leave Apple which will make this time an easy game to Microsoft cause it is a Marketeer VS Marketeer but this time it is Tim Cook who is not a skilled Marketeer as Jobs with all my respect.
Microsoft now is having a Generic Operating system for phones that can be used by any Phone meeting it's hardware requirements, Also Windows 8 is entering the Game of Tablets by Windows 8 the same thing a generic Operating System for Tablets with hardware requirements.

so why am i saying this story and wasting your time with things you might be knowing ??
cause when i knew this story I've Reached a conclusion that i love to share it with you, and it is totally from my point of view not Microsoft's not Apple's not anybody's it is all Mine Mohanad's Point of view

First :
Both Steve and Bill are great men, artists, successful, with all the meaning of these words they had their dream clear and they both reached their Dream and they are happy now i guess, and anyone who wish to be a great Entrepreneur must read, search and study their biography.

Second :
Both Bill and Steve pushed the replay button of the history, so i think Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8 will be very successful (i wish personally cause i'm a Microsoft Fan, but i respect Apple).

Third:
i love theses men business model i don't think that successful industries or codes, or anything must be revealed to public, i personally don't believe in the Open Source and what i see is that their is some versions of the Open Source Software reached a level of success, immediately converted to non free closed source Software, so Open Source to me is for the prevalence only.

Forth :
it is not a war, for the user, only choose what fits you, if you choose Apple's Products no one from Microsoft will try to kill you and vise versa, they booth know that they will never get all the world as customers to their products.

Fifth :
Microsoft do have it's way in the industry, Apple do have it's way in the industry, also Google have it's way, never ask Google to reveal it's Search engine code, Microsoft to reveal it's Products code, Apple to reveal its way of manufacturing or it's code too, it is not fair plus, why don't we just respect them and search deeper who they are successful, i (Mohanad) Loves Microsoft very much, cause it fits me, that dose not mean that the others are punch of stupids how don't know nothing and they are going to fail the next step they have, think about it, they are the biggest companies on earth, so they really know what are they doing, so focus in one of two things even to learn from them how to be successful or create something new and better (Like Mark Zuckerberg or Jack Dorsey)

Sixth :
Microsoft Products are great, Apple Products are Great, Google Products are great, each one of them have it's own taste, and audience know the three of them don't close your mind and mentality on one thing.

Finally : i'll keep blogging about Microsoft's Products, cause i love them and i love this Company and i'll do my best to keep this Company on top of the world :), at the same time i respect Apple and Google they both of them are giving a taste to the market it will never be cool when it is only one company having everything :D.

Cloud Services for Windows Phone 7

Have you ever done an application that requires a huge space for your data, and consumes a huge amount of processing power ??

If you did it, or you are imagining that you can do it.... how do you imagine it ??

Client server application ??
for how much and how long you will build this thing ??

if you are doing it the old fashion, then you are wasting lots and lots of money and time.

So what d you think for a Phone application ??
millions of operations and and lots of data to be saved, lots of calculations ......etc.


10 years ago it was impossible.
5 years ago it seemed to be impossible.


But Now ........ it is a piece of a cake :D

This is possible when you are going to build a Windows Phone 7 application using Microsoft Windows Azure Cloud services for windows phone 7, this is what i'm going to discuss in this article, i'll not go very deep in to cloud but i'll try my best to explain the Azure services for windows Phone 7.

we will discuss in this post an over view of the Windows Phone 7 application platform and start a series of posts to explain every thing with Windows Phone 7 and we will be starting with the Cloud Services 

lets talk a little bit about the Application Platform of Windows phone 7 first to get things clear,

The Windows Phone 7 application platform consists of 4 elements : Run time,Tools and support, Cloud Services, and Developer Portal Services.

So what each one of those actually do??
i'll explain this in details in future posts but i'll tell you a brief about each one of those.

1-Run time : is the part you can see on the phone it self the code you write to create a Silverlight application or an XNA Game and the user use it, so simply it is what the user see.
2-Tools & support :  are the tools that you as a developer use to develop the different flavors of applications that you can check it out in my old presentation.

3-Cloud services : the services of by Windows Azure for windows phone 7 ..... in simple words some ready made services on Cloud you call it in your application to use..... not literally but it is like that ..... to give you the chance to imagine it.

4-Developer portal services : after you finish your application you will need the different services that you could use to get you application to the users ..... the market that you will put your application on so that the different users can download and buy.

all of theses are cool stuff and and they all complete each others and integrate completely to serve your needs.

Lets start with the Cloud services :


we can redivide the way we look to cloud services for windows phone 7 in to 3 parts, "Yours", "Theirs" , and "Ours".
what is "Yours" : is that you build, you consume, it is very easy with cloud computing services like windows azure

"Theirs" : is that they have made for you easy APIs that you know, and Windows communication Foundation SOAP.REST.LINQ(WCF)

"ours" : is what they made for us to use which are the services (Notification, Location, Xbox Live, & App, Deployment & Marketplace)

So what are these services ????!

First we have :

Notifications :

To enable efficient, dynamic, and up-to-date information and communication channels, Windows Phone Application Platform provides an API to enable services to notify the user when relevant events have occurred. This eliminates the need for polling and reduces battery consumption.

Row notifications

There are 3 types of Notifications :
1-Tile notification
2-Toast notification
3-Row notification

Location and Cloud services:

•The Location Cloud Services will work together with the Location APIs on the phone, making its presence transparent to the developer. The service will use Wi-Fi, cellular, and GPS data to provide a single source for providing position lookup. Assisted GPS (AGPS) is available to improve the fix for GPS.

Location, Feeds, Social, and Maps Services :

•The extensive variety of web services in the cloud allow consumers to identify themselves, interact with social communities, receive data feeds, and use maps for navigation. Developers can enrich this experience by providing new applications that use these services.

And finally >> Windows Azure:

Visual Studio 2010 provides the development environment for creating applications using the Windows Azure™ Platform, an Internet-scale cloud computing and services platform hosted in Microsoft data centers. The Windows Azure Platform provides a range of functionality to build applications that span from consumer web to enterprise scenarios and includes a cloud operating system and a set of developer services. Fully interoperable through the support of industry standards and web protocols such as Representational State Transfer (REST) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), you can use the Azure services individually or together, either to build new applications or to extend existing ones

الإنتخابات الرئاسية....و حبيبنا بتوع الشرطة

في البداية حابب أتكلم على الانتخابات الرئاسية .... ومش هرغي زي بقيت الناس في في إن البرادعي أحسن ولا غيره ولا غيره .... أنا بصراحة عندي اقتراح للنظام الانتخابي مختلف خالص عن التعديلات في الدستور وأكيد أنا عارف إنه مش هينفع في الانتخابات الجاية .... بس ليه ده مايكونش النظام بتاعنا مش بنقلد حد وكمان نظام كويس وأنتم الي هتحاديدوا إذا كان كويس ولا لأ ..... المهم نخش في الموضوع عشان الملل.

الفكرة هي إن مايكونش فيه أي قيود على المرشح لا جنسية مزدوجة ولا سن ولا منصب ولا أي حاجة خالص ولا حتى جمع توقيع ولا أي كلام من البطيخ ده ..... اللي عايز يترشح يترشح ...ونقول إن يتفتح الباب في شهر يناير مثلا ...... وقبل ما أي حد فيهم يقول البرنامج بتاعه لإن أكيد مش هنسمع برامج لألف واحد مثلا ...... ويحصل بعد كده في شهر فبراير أو مارس  استفتاء اولي على كل المتقدمين للإنتخابات.... يكون فيها التصويت من الشعب على كل المرشحين اللي شايفين فيهم إنهم كويسين أو يصلحوا للمنصب ..... نقول مثلا يختاره من كل المرشحين عشرة أو خمسة على حسب عدد المرشحين المتقدميين للمنصب...... بعد كده يحصل في نوفبر أو ديسامبر الإنتخابات الرئاسية النهائية طبعا بعد ماكل مرشح يتحفنا بالبرنامج بتاعه ويحصل مناظرة علانية مابينهم  واللي بيها الشعب هايختار رئيسه للأرْبع سنين الي بعد كده.

طيب عشان الفكرة ده تتعمل لازم الأول يكون فيه نظام تصويت الكتروني كامل وقوي ..... لإن طبعا غير منطقي كل كمية الورق وال لجان الملهاش لازمة ده تتعمل.
ومشروع زي ده .. هيوفر فرص عمل عشان حد يعمل النظام بتاع التصويت الالكتروني ده ويحافظ عليه ويعملوا صيانة وو وو إلخ...

طيب هنستفاد إيه من حاجة زي ده .....

 أولا :

مش هيكون فيه حاجة اسمها ممنوع عشان سنك أو ميلك أو أو أو ...... مفيش حاجة غير الكفاءة الهتوصلك للآخر 

ثانيا :

هيكون بالنظام ده الشرعية كاملة للشعب مش بس في اختيار الرئيس لأ ده كمان في اختيار حتى المرشحين 

ثالثا :

مش هيكون في أي حاجة تمنع ناس محترمة ومعروف مدى وطنيتها إنهم يكونوا رؤساء ازا كانوا كفا بغض النظر عن سنهم أو ميولهم أو حملهم ل جنسية أخرى.

رابعا:

مش هيكون فيه وظيفة ل مجلس الشعب غير إنه يحسب الحكومة .... لكن جمع توقيع من المجلس وكل واحد يبقى حاسس إنه عامل جميلة في المرشح الي هيدله صوته .... فاكس يعني. 

نيجي بقى لحبايب قلبي ظباط الشرطة في القطر المصري المهيب ..... تاني هقولها ....لو مش حبين تنزله سواء خوف أو كسل أو أي سبب يعني ..... قولوا عادي مش هنقفيش.

لكن انسوا تماما وكليا ولا حتى في الحلم انكم ترجعوا زي الأول بالسلطة الغريبة الي كان عملهالكم مبارك و العادلي .

الواد بتاع كلية الشرطة اللي قال احنا بنحيلكم يا هبل ده لازم يتحقق معاه ..... ولو هم بيتربوا كده جوه الكلية يبقى نقفلها أحسن مش عايزين شكرا .....
ولو الدنيا ملهاش حل فيه اقتراح تاني ليهم ...... نسرح الشرطة خالص ويتعمل جهاز مدني من أول وجديد زينا زي بقيت العالم .... (للي ميعرفش الشرطة في الكوكب كله جهاز مدني ..... إلا احنا جهاز عسكري) ويمسكه حد مدني من كلية الحقوق مثلا.

أو يتشال خالص لفترة وتمسك الشرطة العسكرية زمام الأمور كلها ويبقى عساكر الشرطة يتحولوا لعساكر جيش بعد اعادة تأهيلهم..... ولو إني مش مع الحل ده قوي عشان حتى الجيش ابتدى يخرف.

الخلاصة الشرطة لو عايزة ترجع ترجع زي ما احنا عايزين مش زي ماهم عايزين ...... وكمان ياريييت اللي مش بيشتغل منهم مايقبضش ..... لانها من ضرايبنا وكمان أنتم مصدعنا بالوضع الاقتصادي ل مصر وكده ...... وفروا شوية فلوس أهه.

ومن الآخر الشرطة عاملة زي الجسم الي اكله السرطان آه ماشي دراعه شغال مثلا ورجله وكده ....لكن خلاص الجسم على بعضه ميت ميت.

Hey there;
For this post i'm gonna tell you two things one about the Imagine Cup Finals next Saturday and the other one about a special persons in the finals :)

First : next Saturday there will be held the Imagine Cup local finals that will end by choosing a team of four to represent Egypt in the Imagine Cup world wide finals USA2011.
if you have the chance to attend such an event .... do your best to be there ..... can't tell you how much you will gain .... you will see great ideas, great minds, great presentation skills and great presentations, which i believe that  every one of us need to get in interaction with these things.

i wish that i wake up one day and find out the Egypt's population's mentality is changed..... it is really driving me crazy :S

Politics:
OK.... every body now is going democratic ....but the disaster is that every one is thinking that he is the only one how is democratic.... every one else is such a stupid person who understands nothing....so hey... it's not democracy this way
just say what you want and let others say what they want.... and respect them before you ask the respect for your self .... this is democracy

Education:
-Universities:
To every Egyptian doctor in any university....please man .... you are not the only one with the brain.... you may know something that you don't know from one of your students ...it's not something bad that would make a fool out f you.
and please if your PHD date is more than 5 years ago .... you have to update what you have learnt stop telling your students that you are giving the basics and that you are following some great curriculum and... and ... and ... trust me ...you can't fool your students at all
-Schools:
don't tell any teacher who lives on giving private lessons to stop unless you have some other way to guarantee him a good living .... these guys don't get paid that much from schools.
also everybody stop saying that the Schools system is bad and it is the reason why Egypt is not a leading country and bla bla bla....try find some solution cause it's not a secret any more we are saying that there is a problem for 20 years now .... and we have done nothing :S

Streets:
both teams .... the ones who love the police men .... and the ones who hate them ...
whatever happens we know that we need them so we have to respect them as always but not the way that would enlarge them more than they deserve... so just wait .
and also if they said that we won't work .... we don't need them ... they are doing a job .... and we could find some others in a population of 85 Millions who can do the same job.
the most important thing ..... don't give any police man any money in any condition.... this was one of the reasons they dealt this way with us on the 25th of Jan.
keep the streets clean.... from your things that you threw and from your tongue....while you are driving .... walking.... quarreling....etc

one last thing ..... please every lover for the conspiracy theory.... would you please stop telling your brilliant analysis that every thing got some one behind .... and start building your country.
if we keep thinking of that great super theory .... we will do nothing.

another one last thing.... Amr mousa lovers ..... Baradie lovers..... X lovers...it's not the time for quarreling now and it is not the time for the elections could you please wait until each candidate tell us his agenda ??!!!

إنزل من بيتك بشبشب و شورت من غير ماتسرح شعرك.. و إتأكد من جواك إنه عادي جدا.. أنا مش مهتم.. و خليك واثق من نفسك.

إشرب مية كثير.

ماتغضبش مهما حصل.

أشكر كل الناس بسبب و من غير سبب.

لو حد إتريق عليك إضحك.. حتى لو من جواك بتضحك عليه.

لو حد شتمك حط ده في تانك البنزين بتاعك علشان يبقى طاقة تحركك لقدام.

لو الناس بعدت عنك إعرف لأنكم مش زي بعض.. لا هما وحشين و لا إنت وحش.. إنتم بس مش زي بعض.. و إتبسط إنك مش بتضيع وقتك معاهم.

لو لقيت نفسك لوحدك شوية ده معناه إنك فريد و نادر من نوعك.. و مين في الدنيا يقول إن نوعك غلط أو وحش.. بس إنت تقدر تتأكد إن ده النوع المناسب ليك.. و إتبسط بيه.. و لو نفسك تغيره غيره.. مافيش حاجة بتلزق حتى إسمك و دينك.

خطط لبكره بس إوعى تخاف منه .. إزاي تخاف من حاجة إنت اللي بتبنيها أصلا.. حاجة لسة ماحصلتش و ماحدش في الدنيا يقدر يعرف إيه اللي هيحصل فيها..

إستمتع بالنهاردة كويس.. لأن كل نهاردة هيبقى إمبارح بتاع بكرة زي ما كان بكرة بتاع إمبارح..

إسمع أغنية مدحت صالح وانا ويايا بعيش زي المليونيرات و شوفها على اليو تيوب و إضحك منها أو عليها.. بس في الحالتين هتضحك.

لما حد يحكيلك حاجة مملة علشان يبين مواهبه في الحياة إعمل نفسك متهم آخر حاجة و لما يخلص إعمل نفسك منبهر آخر حاجة برضه.. و كمان إسأله عن تكملة الحكاية.. بس ماتعملش كده كثير.. مرة كل فين و فين..

إفتكر أيام لما كنت بتصحى بدري علشان المدرسة.. و لما كنت بتذاكر فيزيا أو تاريخ.. و أهلك مانعينك من النزول و إتبسط إن ده كله خلص و مش راجع ثاني.

إتبسط.. و لو مش عايز تتبسط.. مش هتعرف تعكنن عليا.
